The research investigates the issue ofjob satisfaction among the
teaching stajf members and its impact on the teachers performance
in the field training and stability of the University teacher at the
ministry of higher education and scientific research (A case study of
Alneelain University) it discuses job satisfaction as it is influenced
by incentives, salaries entitlements in addition to rehabilitation and
trying for the teacher staff member and the success of
administration.
The study aims to shed light on the occupational status of the
teaching staff members in Alneelain University and its Socio-
economic consequences. The study adopted the descriptive- analytic
approach, the historical approach and case study approach in
describing the phenomenon of job satisfaction among the teaching
stafl members as well as reviewing of previous studies.
The study concluded that the teaching stafl in the university
have no high level of job satisfaction within wages and
responsibilities. How ever they enjoy satisfaction in other areas such
as tickets payment against leave participation in examination held in
external centers . This study recommended the necessity of reviewing
the systems and regulations followed in promotion and training of
the university teachers as well as conduction of research studies and
surveys in order to know the standard of job satisfaction and the
impressions of the employees.
