Abstract

Abstract The research tackled the effect of regional planning in Republic upon agriculture, and industry development ease-study is within administrative boundaries in (_ 1998-2006 ) . 'The research consists of five chapters . The research aims is to identify the reality of developmental plans at yafron region and determination of shortages points and setting proposals to develop the region following descriptive approach and analytical that concern with developmental plans in the region and reflecting the concepts associated with regional planning and factors inflecting it and its relation with national planning also the research tackled the planning in republic of Lybia, and legislation organizing planning process besides institutions and playing bodies in republic. The research reflected fne natural, ‘human characteristics and development reality in Yaforn region . The research findings are : V The region lack underground water and annual rate of rain is un suitable for agriculture , besides there is no developmental plan to promote agricultural sector and mdusterial sectors . T It depends on utilization of local available materials in the region which leads to delay in agricultural and industrial development . The research proposes there shouldrbe long tern: developmental ‘plan aims at promoting agricultural and industrial development which leads in raising and improvement of development level. in the region
