| dc.description.abstract | This project presents the development of GSM-based control home appliances for smart home system. The main aim of the prototype development is to reduce electricity wastage. GSM module was used for receiving short message service (SMS) from mobile phone user's that automatically enable the controller to take any further action such as to switch ON and OFF the home devices such as light, air conditioner etc. The system was integrated with arduino microcontroller and GSM network interface using assembly language. software was utilized to accomplish the integration. The system is activated when user sends the SMS to controller at home. Upon receiving the SMS command, the microcontroller unit then automatically controls the electrical home appliances by switching ON or OFF the device according to the user order. In other word, it read message from the mobile phone and response to control the devices according to the received message. The prototype has been successfully developed and it provide an effective mechanism in utilizing the energy source efficiently. المستخلص يقدم هذا المشروع تطوير الأجهزة المنزلية للتحكم ب GSM القائم على نظام المنزل الذكي. الهدف الرئيسي من تطوير النموذج الأولي هو توفير الكهرباء والمحافظه على الاجهزة . تم استخدام وحدة GSM لتلقي خدمة الرسائل القصيرة SMS من الهاتف المحمول الخاص بالمستخدم والتي تعمل تلقائيًا على تمكين وحدة التحكم من اتخاذ أي إجراء آخر مثل تشغيل وإيقاف الأجهزة المنزلية مثل الضوء , المروحة ,التلفزيون ومكيف الهواء إلخ. تم دمج النظام مع Arduino متحكم و واجهة شبكة GSM باستخدام assembly language. تم استخدام البرنامج لإنجاز التكامل. يتم تنشيط النظام عندما يرسل المستخدم الرسائل القصيرة إلى وحدة تحكم في المنزل. عند استلام أمر SMS ، تتحكم وحدة التحكم الدقيقة تلقائيًا في الأجهزة المنزلية الكهربائية عن طريق تشغيل أو إيقاف تشغيل الجهاز وفقًا لأمر المستخدم. في كلمة أخرى ، فإنه يقرأ رسالة من الهاتف المحمول والاستجابة للتحكم في الأجهزة وفقا للرسالة الواردة. وقد تم تطوير النموذج الأولي بنجاح ، ويوفر آلية فعالة في استخدام مصدر الطاقة بكفاءة. | en_US |
