Abstract
The aims:
The main aim of this study is to know how the headmasters
and headmistresses of the basic level schools in Khartoum East
sector at Khatroum locality exercise their administrative roles in
the following fields:
1- The headmaster’s role towards the pupils of the school.
2- The headmaster’s role towards the teachers of the school.
3- The headmaster’s role towards the workers in the school.
4- The headmaster’s role towards the local society.
5- The headmaster’s role towards the education
Administration.
Reaching for recommendations and suggestions to clarify
and enable officials in charge on what they have to do.
Study Sample:
The sample of this study is a comprehensive sample
represents 34 headmasters and headmistresses in Khartoum
East sector.
Metholgy :
Questionairs for headmasters and headmistresses.
The important results of the study are the following:
l- The headmasters of the basic school at Khartoum locality
Khartoum East sector is doing his role towards the pupils
efficiently from the view of the headmasters and
headmistresses at a general mean from 2.5 to 3 for the
whole questions of the axis.
2- The same previous results for the role should be done by
the headmaster or headmistress towards the teachers.
3- The same previous results for the role should be done by
the headmaster or headmistress towards the workers in the
school.
4- The same previous results for the role should be done by
the headmaster or headmistress towards the local society.
5- The same previous results for the role should be done by the
headmaster or headmistress towards the education -
administration .
There are some differences of statistic indication and these
due to the managerial experience for the headmasters and
headmistress .
Recommendations I
l- Continuous enlightening and guiding of the basic schools
administrations to their roles towards the pupils,
teachers ,workers in the school , local society and the
administration of education .
2- There must be an administrative courses to qualify teachers
to support the headmaster and ease his duties .
3- Headmasters must know the importance of the activities in
the educational process .
