Abstract

Abstract This study deals with the issue of Zakat distribution in Islamic Sharia the Problem of the study lies in studying the extent to which the state applies the Islamic princible in collecting, the the dunds of Zakat with regard ti their provisions and legislations the most important objectives of the study are the following: Guiding Muslims to follow the laws of Allah concerning their money and contrubting in solving some of the issues related to Zakat through having scientific materials and a scribing them their sources in the Holluu Quran and Sunnah to achieve satisfaction and balance in collecting the funds and speed them accordinf to the slaws of Allah for the state and every Muslim individual. The researcher has followed the inductive analytic approach for the Ayas, Hadiths and opinions oof Islamic Scholarsd concerned with the subject. The research out line consists of an introduction, three chapters and a conclusion. Cahpter one includes the definition of Zakat in Islam, the statement impose by timw, the difference between Zakat and charity and evidences related to the obligation of paying Zakat. Chapter two explains the provisions Zakat for both the giver and the taket. Chapter three states the kinds of individuals on which Zakat is distributed according to Islamic Sharia. The most important results of the study are the following: Zakat in Islam is a must in Gold, Silver, crops, fruits, commercial displays, and cattle. The poor and needy are the first ones who deserve Zakat. This leads to the main objective of Zakat obligation that is to ordinate poverty and wretchedness community. These kinds of people are given one year expenditure. The one who works on collecting and distributing Zakat id gives a sufficient wage even if the he was rich, and Zakat is also given to thoe who are wishing Islam, to the slaves and debtors as much as ir fulfills their needs, and to the invaders for the sake of Allah to uy weapons and animals and to expense on their families even if they were rich. The way farer is also given Zakat that is enugh for him to arrive home even if he was rich. The rich, powerful, earners and dibelivers are not given Zakat. The most important recommendations are the necessity of applying the issue of Zakat distribution according to Islamic sharia, and the necessity of following our oncestor who have cared about the issues of collecting and distributing Zakat.
