    إستخدام تقنيات التنقيب في البيانات لإيجاد العلاقه بين حضور الطلاب للمحاضرات والنتيجه النهائيه المتحصل عليها في مؤسسات التعليم العالي ( دراسة حالة جامعة وادي النيل كلية العلوم والتقانة

    مستخلص البحث علم التنقیب في البیانات یعمل علي إستخلاص معرفه جدیدة من البیانات، حيث تعتبر العنقده إحدي تقنیاته الرئیسیة والتي تعني بعملیة تقسیم البیانات الي مجموعات وفقاً لسمات مشتركه. ويستخدم التنقيب في البيانات كأداة تحليلية لتحليل البيانات. وعلاوة على ذلك، فإنه يلخص العلاقات ويقوم بإيجاد أنماط مشتركه في المجموعات الضخمة من البيانات. هناك حوجه لدراسة وتحليل الإرتباط بين معدل حضور الطلاب للمحاضرات و النتيجه النهائيه في مؤسسات التعليم العالي من اجل إثبات أن حضور الطلاب للمحاضرات سبب أساسي في نجاح العمليه التعليميه وتحسين آداء الطلاب أكاديمياً. في هذا البحث تم استخدام التنقيب في البيانات بإستخدام تقنية العنقده عن طريق تطبيق خوارزمية K-Means. لدراسة العلاقة بين حضور الطلاب ودرجاتهم في المقررات الدراسيه باستخدام مجموعة من بيانات الطلاب من جامعة وادي النيل. تم إختيارالأداة ويكا، كما تم استخدام MicrosoftExcel2010لحفظ البيانات. وأظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة بين حضور المحاضرات ودرجات الطلاب في المقررات الدراسيه. Abstract Data mining science works on extraction of new knowledge from data, one of its main techniques is clustering. Which divide data into groups based on shared characteristics. Data mining system is used as an analytical tool to analyze the data. Moreover, it summarizes the relations and patterns in huge dataset. There is a need to study and analyze the correlation between the attendance rate of students for lectures and the final result in institutions of higher education in order to prove that the attendance of students to lectures is a key for the success of the educational process and improve the academic performance of students. In this research, data mining was used by using the technique of clustering by applying the K-Means algorithm. In this research, data mining technique is used to investigate the relation between attendance of students and degree in the courses using student’s dataset from Nile Valley University. The tool that has been selected is WEKA, also Microsoft Excel spread sheet 2010 was used to save the data. The results showed that there is relation between course attendance and students’ grades.
