    Abstract , This study aims to measure the effectiveness of financial ;i_nalysi‘s on the improvement of external auditor’s report. This is in an attemptto establish a specific general framework that enables the auditor to plan for audit process. Besides, that it can be used in disclosing risk factors, which may include acts of fraud. in addition to, establislna- general framework that enables the auditor to assess endurability of enterprise ‘to perfonn its activities and contribute to enhance the auditor’s professional assessment. The study also aims to introduce a framework to resolve the problem of expectations gap in the audit process that is by reviewing the _auditor’s responsibility with regard to uncovering the acts of fraud, besides his responsibility for evaluation of ‘presumption of continuity and how could he specify either requirements. The aim of this study is how to make benefit from methods of financial analysis, in laying down a specific framework that enables the auditor to discharge his responsibilities regarding uncovering acts of fraud. This is will be carried out throughout good planning for the audit process, 'in addition to, his responsibility in respect of evaluation of presumption of continuity, which can be done throughout developing his ability of prediction. The study conducted on a group of companies in the Sudan, which can be classified into two main groups, the first group is belongs to the industrial sector, and the other one is belongs to the commercial sector that is during the period from_1_993 to 2003. " . To reach this goal the role of committee on audit for the improvement of extemal auditor’s report can be reviewed, where, a recourse to previous literature have also been made. The role of financial indictors in developing the efficiency and efficacy of the auditor, to uncover the acts of fraud, was also being raised; this is through the process of reviewing progress made in the auditor’s responsibility with regard to uncovering acts of fraud, as wellas previous studies to improve his abilities in this regard. The purpose of._which_ is to provide a new proposed methods based on financial analysis which can be useful in developing the auditor’s abilities in discharging his responsibility. This is by benefiting from the American Standard No.(9_9) and ,_the',_attemp_t of applying this standard p'n‘the‘priactical reality.’ ' I ’ I l ' " ~ - A ' The issue of measurement of enterprise ability to continue was alsosbeing raised throughout broad reviewing of the concept of presumption of continuity and risks of enterprise failure. I-n,tern‘ational and American Audit Standards relating to auditors respofisiibility in the'evaluation of presump“tion’"of continuity were also had been reviewed, with a view of introducing an attempt to set a frameworkbased on usingfinancial analysis to serve the auditor in appraising the extent of ability of enterprises continuity. Furthermore, Ito lay down Iaifdescriptive framework, for the same p'urpose,,derived from lntemational Auditing Standards No (570) and the American Auditing Standards No. (59). Methods of practical application for proposed models were also being discussed, however, they were divided into two groups koficoimpanies, the first on'e belongs to the industrial sector, and the other one belongs to the commercial sector. The aim is to explain the way in which the proposed model is applied, which is based on principle of financial analysis to improve the abilities of the auditor to disclose acts of fraud, in addition to, the suggested model to improve the abilities of the auditor to assess enterprise continuity. The researcher has arrived at numerous findings the most important of which is the potentiality of utilizing the proposed model for either planning for the process of auditing to uncover acts of fraud and the appraisal of enterprises ability to continue, at the industrial and the commercial enterprises. Procedure of business strategy analysis, accounting and financial analysis are considered as the basis of enhan_cing the abilities of the auditor to un_cov'er thebacts of ‘administrative fraud,‘-,as well as lfotentiality of prediction of ehterprises endurabilityito continue.
