Corporation (Sudatel) utilized quantitative analysis tools and techniques. ' The problem of the study is that the manager's at sudatel depends on descriptive means for decision making without any consideration of the quantitative tools and techniques which undermine the quality of decision taken. The research aims to explain the impact of utilizing quantitative tools and techniques on managerial decision. Also the research endeavors to examine the extent of managers understanding about these tools and techniques and relating the effectiveness of decision making to these tools and techniques usage. The researcher developed the following hypotheses: the absence of quantitative analysis techniques jeopardize the competitive position of the company, using quantitative techniques by manager at Sudatel decrease the possibility of mistakes of decision making and increases its effectiveness, there is a correlation between using quantitative tools and customer satisfaction. The researcher used descriptive analytical methodology in addition to case study. Among the results of the study are the following: there is little to moderate awareness of manager about the quantitative tools of decision making, which negatively affect their application. Also, the study finds that the customers are unsatisfied with the service quality provided by Sudatel. In addition, the research finds that there is no relationship between respondents qualifications and their awareness of these tools and techniques, moreover, despite the necessity of these tools and techniques in certain departments, they are not .utilized. Finally, the company still depends on traditional narrative methods such as experience, consultancies, and personal judgment. Then, the researcher suggests a number of recommendations: - establishing a specialized centre for rendering different consultant services. - The course of operations research must be included in the curriculum of economics and statistics. - More emphasis should be given to training on using quantitative tools and techniques. - More emphasis should be given to customer care centers by using questionnaires. - Continuous survey of environment to keep with up to date changes.
