Item The Effect of the intra ocular pressure on the central corneal thickness in the Glaucomatous patients(AL-Neelain University, 2015) Hamza Mohammed Ahmed Abd Al-gadirAbstract This study aimed to detect the relationship between intra ocular pressure (IOP) and central corneal thickness (CCT) in the glaucomatous patients, to assess if there any change in CCT after the patient take anti-glaucoma drugs. A total of 50 eyes (27 subjects) were involved in this experimental study. Twenty three subjects were bilaterally affected by glaucoma. Males/females distribution was 13 and 14 respectively. Mean age of the total subjects was 40 years (range from 25 to 65). Parameters investigated were the age, gender, visual acuity, IOP, funds examination, perimetry, and CCT. Which were measured twice, first time before any treatment, and then measured again after one month from taken an anti-glaucoma treatment. All ophthalmic examinations were carried in Sudan Eye Center. The data obtained was computed and analyzed using SPSS version 16.0. The result showed a reduction in the CCT and IOP after treatment, with pvalue 0.007 and <0.001 respectively. And improve in VA p= 0.002. Also there are positive correlation between IOP and CCT after treatment p< 0.001, which indicate the effect of IOP on the CCT. Also there is positive correlation between VA and CCT after treatment p= 0.02. Key words: Intra ocular pressure, central corneal thickness, visual acuity, glaucoma. اﻟﺨﻼﺻﺔ ﺗﮭﺪف ھﺬه اﻟﺪراﺳﺔ ﻟﺘﺤﺪﯾﺪ اﻟﻌﻼﻗﺔ ﺑﯿﻦ ﺿﻐﻂ اﻟﻌﯿﻦ وﺳﻤﻚ ﻣﺮﻛﺰ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ ﻓﻲ ﻣﺮﺿﻲ اﻟﻤﺎء اﻷزرق وﻣﻌﺮﻓﺔ إذا ﻣﺎ ﻛﺎن ھﻨﺎﻟﻚ أي ﺗﻐﯿﯿﺮ ﻓﻲ ﺳﻤﻚ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ اﻟﻤﺮﻛﺰي ﺑﻌﺪ ﺗﻠﻘﻲ اﻟﻌﻼج. ﻣﺠﻤﻮع 05 ﻋﯿﻦ )72 ﺷﺨﺺ( ﺗﻤﺖ دراﺳﺘﮭﻢ ﻓﻲ ھﺬا اﻟﺒﺤﺚ اﻟﺘﺠﺮﯾﺒﻲ, ﺛﻼﺛﺔ وﻋﺸﺮون ﻣﻨﮭﻢ ﻣﺼﺎﺑﻮن ﻓﻲ اﻟﻌﯿﻨﯿﻦ ﺑﺎﻟﻤﺎء اﻷزرق. اﻟﺬﻛﻮر/اﻻﻧﺎث ﻛﺎﻧﺖ اﻋﺪادھﻢ 31 و 41 ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﺘﻮاﻟﻲ. اﻟﻮﺳﻂ اﻟﺤﺴﺎﺑﻲ ﻷﻋﻤﺎر اﻟﻤﺮﺿﻲ ﻛﺎن04ﺳﻨﺔ )ﺗﺪرﺟﺖ ﻣﻦ 52 اﻟﻲ 56(. ﺗﻀﻤﻨﺖ اﻟﺒﯿﺎﻧﺎت واﻟﻘﯿﺎﺳﺎت ﻓﻲ ھﺬه اﻟﺪراﺳﺔ اﻟﻌﻤﺮ واﻟﺠﻨﺲ وﺣﺪة اﻹﺑﺼﺎر وﺿﻐﻂ اﻟﻌﯿﻦ واﻟﻜﺸﻒ ﻋﻦ ﻗﺎع اﻟﻌﯿﻦ وﺗﺨﻄﯿﻂ ﻣﯿﺪان اﻟﻨﻈﺮ وﻗﯿﺎس ﺳﻤﻚ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ اﻟﻤﺮﻛﺰي.ھﺬه اﻟﻤﺘﻐﯿﺮات ﺗﻢ ﻗﯿﺎﺳﮭﺎ ﻣﺮﺗﯿﻦ, اﻷوﻟﻲ ﻗﺒﻞ اﻟﻌﻼج واﻟﻤﺮة اﻟﺜﺎﻧﯿﺔ ﺑﻌﺪ ﻣﺮور ﺷﮭﺮ واﺣﺪ ﻣﻦ ﺗﻠﻘﻲ ﻋﻼﺟﺎت اﻟﻤﺎء اﻷزرق. ﺗﻢ ﻋﻤﻞ ﻛﻞ اﻟﻔﺤﻮﺻﺎت ﻓﻲ ﻣﺮﻛﺰ اﻟﺴﻮدان ﻟﻠﻌﯿﻮن, ﻛﻤﺎ ﺗﻤﺖ ﻋﻤﻠﯿﺔ اﻟﺤﺴﺎﺑﺎت وﺗﺤﻠﯿﻞ اﻟﺒﯿﺎﻧﺎت .0.61 noisrev SSPSﺑﺈﺳﺘﺨﺪام ﺑﺮﻧﺎﻣﺞ وﻛﺎﻧﺖ اﻟﻨﺘﯿﺠﺔ أن ھﻨﺎﻟﻚ ﻧﻘﺼﺎن ﻓﻲ ﺳﻤﻚ ﻣﺮﻛﺰ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ وﺿﻐﻂ اﻟﻌﯿﻦ ﺑﻌﺪ اﻟﻌﻼج ﻗﯿﻤﺔ ب 700,0 و أﻗﻞ ﻣﻦ 100,0ﻋﻠﻲ اﻟﺘﻮاﻟﻲ. وﺗﺤﺴﻨﺖ ﺣﺪة اﻹﺑﺼﺎر ﻗﯿﻤﺔ ب =200,0. ﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﻛﺎن ھﻨﺎﻟﻚ ﺗﻨﺎﺳﺐ ﻃﺮدي ﺑﯿﻦ ﺿﻐﻂ اﻟﻌﯿﻦ وﺳﻤﻚ ﻣﺮﻛﺰ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ ﻗﯿﻤﺔ ب أﻗﻞ ﻣﻦ 100,0 ﻣﻤﺎ ﯾﺪل ﻋﻠﻲ ﺗﺄﺛﯿﺮ ﺿﻐﻂ اﻟﻌﯿﻦ ﻋﻠﻲ ﺳﻤﻚ ﻣﺮﻛﺰ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ. وﻛﺬﻟﻚ ﻛﺎن ھﻨﺎﻟﻚ ﺗﻨﺎﺳﺐ ﻃﺮدي ﺑﯿﻦ ﺣﺪة اﻷﺑﺼﺎر وﺳﻤﻚ ﻣﺮﻛﺰ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ ﻗﯿﻤﺔ ب =20,0 اﻟﻜﻠﻤﺎت اﻟﻤﻔﺘﺎﺣﯿﺔ: ﺿﻐﻂ اﻟﻌﯿﻦ, ﺳﻤﻚ ﻣﺮﻛﺰ اﻟﻘﺮﻧﯿﺔ, ﺣﺪة اﻹﺑﺼﺎر, اﻟﻤﺎء اﻻزرق.
