    Background and objective: HIV/AIDS still remains a major public health problem all over the world Blood borne diseases impose heavy burdens on national economies and individual families due to costs arising from acute and chronic morbidity and mortality. Razor sharing and shaving in barber shops has been too identified as a key risk factor for HIV infection. The aim of this study was to detect the presence of HIV in different barber shops tools in Khartoum Sudan.
