    Structural and Optical Properties of NICO1-Fe2O4 Nanoferrites Synthesized using Co– Precipitation Method

    ABSTRACT In this work , the Ni􀭶Co􀬵􀬿􀭶Fe􀬶O􀬸Nanoparticles ferrites (where x= 0.0, 0.2, 0.4,0.6 and 0.8) were Synthesized using co-precipitation method. The investigation of structural and optical properties was carried out for the synthesized samples using X-ray diffractometer (XRD),Fourier transform infrared spectrometer (FTIR ) and Ultraviolet visible spectrophotometer(UV – Vis) .XRD revealed that the structure of these nanoparticles is cubic spinel structure with crystal size 9.44 - 5.75 nm .Lattice parameter was found to be 7.5Aᵒ .FTIR spectroscopy confirmed the formation of spinal ferrite by showing the characteristics absorption band around 3123, 1620 , 1403 , 530 , and 419􀜿􀝉􀬿􀬵 . the energy band gap was calculated using UV-VIS spectrophotometer and was found to be 5.13,4.88, 4.82 , 4.79 , and 4.58eV respectively; these results confirm that the subsistance is an insulator. المستخلص نانوفررایت حیث NiXCo2-Fe2O4 في ھذا البحث تم تحضیرالعینات ذات الصیغة الكیمیائیھ باستخدام طریقھ الترسیب الكیمیائي المشترك، وركزت الدراسة علي (x=0.0, 0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8) التحضیر ودراسة التركیبة والخواص الضوئیة للعینات باستخدام جھاز حیود الأشعة السینیة ، وجھاز مطیاف الأشعة تحت الحمراء ، وحھاز مطیاف الأشعة الفوق بنفسجیة. تم التحقق من الخواص التركیبیة 5.75 نانومتر وثابت - باستخدام جھاز حیود الأشعة السینیة ووجد انھا مكعبة وحجمھا البلوري 9.44 الشبیكة لھا 7.5 انجستروم . وتم التحقق من الروابط الكیمیائیة للمركبات بمطیاف الأشعة تحت الحمراء 1403 419 , 530 ، ووجد أنھا من النوع السبینل فررابت وتتمركز حول مناطق الامتصاصات 3123 1620 سم- 1. كما تم حساب فجوات الطاقة المسموح للعینات من مطیاف الأشعة فوق البنفسجیة , ووجدت 4.58,4.79,4.82,4.88,5.13 إلكترون فولت علي التوالي یعنى انھا تنتمى للعوازل.
