    Nurses Competence Concerning the Procedure and Complications of Hemodialysis in selected Hemodialysis Centers in Khartoum City – 2017.

    ABSTRACT Back ground : Hemo dialysis is treatment that removes the waste products and excess fluid that accumulate in the blood and body tissue as result as renal failure . Hemo dialysis may facing complications occur during session of dialysis which need great attention and save of emergency complications e.g.: problem with fistula(infection, bleeding , blockage and insufficient blood flow) and hypotension . The aim of the study nurses knowledge , attitude and skills regarding Hemo dialysis procedure and complications in (Ibn Sinaa specialized hospital, Bashair hospital and Salma center ) Method :this is descriptive crossectional hospital based study , the study population is diploma , graduate and post graduate nurse work in Hemo dialysis units , sample size total coverage(54)the data was collected though interviewing questionnaire and observation check list , and data analyzed by SPSS version twenty and used chi squire to correlate years of experiences , qualification and knowledge . Result : the result showed that78.8% nurses had good knowledge about Hemo dialysis and 42.3% poor knowledge about complication , and there is significant relation between qualification and knowledge . About 57% of nursing role after dialysis is done and 43%not done. 98.1% of nurses have good attitude about health education of Hemo dialysis Conclusion :The study showed that nurses had good knowledge about Hemo dialysis poor knowledge about complications . And study revealed that no relation between qualification and nurses knowledge about complications during of Hemo dialysis and detection of hypotension . and there is no relation between knowledge and years of experience . A standardized written protocol, special for Hemo dialysis procedure and managing related complications and practice needs to develop for the nursing staff in Hemo dialysis units . ملخص الدر اسة خلفية : الغسيل الكلوي هو العلاج الذي يزيل النفايات و السوائل الزائدة التي تتراكم في أنسجة الدم والجسم نتيجة للفشل الكلوي .كما قد يحدث خلل في الدم تحدث مضاعفات خلال دورة غسيل الكلي التي تحتاج إلي عناية كبيرة وتوفير طوارئ علي سبيل المثال: العدوى ,النزيف ,انسداد وعدم كفاية تدفق الدم وانخفاض ضغط الدم. الهدف من هذه الدر اسه : معرفة مهارة الممرضين لعملية الغسيل الدموي والمضاعفات التي تحدث أثناء وبعد عملية الغسيل الدموي في مستشفى ابن سيناء ,مستشفى بشاير ومركز سلمي . المنهجية:هذه الدر اسه وصفيه وشملت الممرضين والممرضات دبلومات , وبكالوريوس وفوق الجامعيين الذين يعملون في وحدة الغسيل الدموي في مستشفي ابن سيناء وبشاير ومركز سلمي وكان حجم العينة كل الممرضين في وحدة الغسيل(54), وتم جمع البيانات عن طريق الاستبيان والملاحظة المباشرة وتم تحليل البيانات عن طريق SPSS وتم استخدام chi squire لمعرفه العلاقة بين سنوات الخبرة والمهارة وبين معرفة الممرضين بالغسيل الدموي . النتائج: توصلت نتائج البحث إلي أن78.8% الممرضين والممرضات لديهم معرفة ضعيفة بعملية الغسيل الدموي و بالمضاعفات التي تحدث إثناء وبعد الغسيل و 42.3%جهلهم في بعض المهارات والمعرفة لبعض الأشياء. ,حوالي 57%من ادوار التمريض بعد عمليه الغسيل يقومون بها و43% من ادوار التمريض لا يقومون بها . الاستنتاج: توصلت نتائج البحث إلي أن الممرضين والممرضات لديهم معرفة بعملية الغسيل الدموي والمضاعفات التي تحدث إثناء وبعد الغسيل وجهلهم في بعض المهارات والمعرفة لبعض الأشياء. وتوصلت إلي عدم وجود علاقة بين سنين الخبرة والمعرفة. , وكشفت الدراسة بعدم وجود علاقة بين المؤهل العلمي ومعرفة الممرضين بالمضاعفات التي تحدث أثناء غسيل الكلي والكشف عن انخفاض ضغط الدم , وأوصي بوضع بروتوكول مكتوب خاص لأجراء غسيل الكلي ومعالجة المضاعفات والممارسات ذات الصلة اللازمة لتطوير طاقم التمريض في وحدات غسيل الكلي.
