    التّقرير الأوّليّ لمشروع البحوث الآثاريّة الإنقاذيّة في المنطقة المتأثرة بقيام سدّي أعالي نهر عطبرة وستيت )الضّفّة الشّرقيّة لنهر ستيت(

    قامت الهيئة العامة للآثار في الفترة من (2010-2013م) بأعمال المسوحات والحفريات الأثرية بالمنطقة المتأثرة بقيام سدي أعالي نهر عطبرة وستيت بشرق السودان. وقد أسفرت نتائجها على تسجيل العديد من المواقع الأثرية التي ترجع إلى فترات ماقبل التاريخ وحتى فترة الاحتلال العثماني. وقد تم اختيار بعض المدافن تعود إلى فترات متأخرة. وقد كانت النتائج بأنها ضمت أنماط مختلفة للدفن والأثاث الجنائزي تمت مقارنة بعضها بثقافة القاش. والتي تمكننا من اقتراح توريخ يعود للألف الثانية والأولي ق. م. Abstract The National Corporation for Antiquities and Museums (NCAM) has been conducted an archaeological surveys and excavations in the region endangered by Sitite and Atbara Dams in eastern Sudan between 2010 and 2013. Many archaeological sites have been registered dating from the prehistoric period to the Ottman period. Some of these archaeological sites have been chosen for excavation, as well as some cemeteries dated to late periods. The result of the excavation graves were compared with the data of the Gash culture. This suggested an appropriate date of the 2nd and 1st millennium B. C.
