    Abstract The study dealt with the efficiency of the Sudanese commercial banks system cantering around capital adequacy according to Basle Accord on banking iegulations and Practices. It also takes into consideration the performance effects of the macro economic indicators on the mechanisms of the Sudanese banking system. This done through analyzing the mechanisms‘ of the macro economic and its impact on the perfonnance of the banks based on tlie correlated relationship between the variables inter- related elements, with CIIIREISCS on capital adequacy, as its one of the banking indicators. Moreover, the study does not neglect the effects of the monetary and funding policies of the Sudan central Bank and the main mechanisms used in carrying them out , the performance of the banks in light of the differences between the traditional banking system and the Sudanese banking system which is based on the Islamic system. The study aims at finding out the efficiency of the Sudanese commercial banks in tenns of their capital adequacy according to Basle standards. Knowing that the Sudanese Central Bank is attempting to make the necessary modifications so that they may suit Sudanese banking system. the Sudanese Islamic Banking system. The study also identifying the challenges stemming from application of Basle standards, and the possibility of making use of the experiences and expertise of the international banks . To achieve its objectives the study has considered the following hypotheses: 1.The constant application of Basil standards by Sudanese commercial banks will lead to the improvement of their capital adequacy .
