    Abstract . This research objective is the study of psycho-social adjustment and how it ' it of Sebha effects Academic achievement of students(both sexes) at univers y .The research aims at discovering and explaining relation between psycho-social 4 - ' I l t and each sex (i e on males females) , academic standard (eve); adjustmen . . - living in Rural or urban ,living in boarding accommodate, or with relates ,friends. The community of the study which constituted in Sebha - University students , ' ' ' 243 M les ,387 and as for the samples :it was (random sample ) totaling 630 . a females and H. M. Bell Test adjustment Measure was used and prepared by Dr. m. 0. Najati _ The researcher,.has concluded some results ,which had been discussed ,analyzed , which can be summarized as the following : ' ' ' ' t d ts 1- There were significant differences in academic achieve between s u en according to psycho-social adjustment. 2- There were significant statistical differences in the range of emotional and physical adjustment between male/female students . 3- There were no statistical differences in home and social adjustment between male/female. 4- There were statistical differences in psycho-social adjustment among students in different levels 5,6,7- As for students standards (levels) , places of accommodate, rural / urban There were no statistical differences in psycho-social adjustment . 8,9,10,11,12- As for achievement-sex, literal standard of parent , emotional standard, There were significant statistical differences.
